Access to Work

Running a business while managing a disability or health condition can feel overwhelming. Whether it’s struggling with organisation, dealing with sensory challenges, or needing specialist equipment or support, these barriers can make work more exhausting than it needs to be.
Access to Work is a government grant, designed to support individuals with disabilities or health conditions.

Access to Work can provide practical
assistance to help people:
- Stay in work
- Return to work
- Build a sustainable business
Support can include funding for:
- Assistive technology
- Workplace adaptations
- Support worker costs
- Coaching
If you’re finding it difficult to manage work due to your condition, Access to Work could be the solution that makes a real difference.
Many neurodivergent people struggle with the application process itself. If you’ve found the process overwhelming, you don’t know where to start or you are not sure what to include, then I can help. I have vast experience of helping other neurodivergent small business owners to successfully get Access to Work support. I can talk you through what’s involved and help you to complete your application.
